René-Jean CAILLETTE
1919 - 2005

Son of a Parisian cabinet maker, René-Jean Caillette takes Major of his class to the School of the Applied arts to industry. He makes friends with Marcel Gascoin and exposes regularly to the Salon des Arts Ménagers and to the Salon des Artistes décorateurs. Companies Charron, with whom he found the group 4, then Steiner, suggest editing) him. He receives very fast numerous awards, such as the prize René Gabriel in 1952. He is considered as one of the most brilliant creative of period.
