Alain RICHARD
né en 1926

Alain Richard takes Major in 1949 from René Gabriel's studio to the National School of Applied Arts, ENSAD, and joins the agency of his professor. Adepte of the mass production, he founds in 1952, his own agency, with his wife, Jacqueline Iribe, the girl of Paul Iribe. His furniture and seats are edited by the Group 4 Charron, Lavrilleux, Meubles TV and Disderot for lamps. Alain Richard receives the first Grand Prize of the three-year of Milan in 1954 and the prize René Gabriel in 1964.
